  What does it cost?
There is absolutely NO COST to use our facilities. We are here to encourage the restoration of health to those in need. Because we run the organization 100% through charitable donations and fund-raisers, we do ask those who are able donate $25 per month - but NO ONE is turned away.

  Where are you located?
We are in the Mid-Cities in Euless. Our address is: 1361 W. Euless Blvd. #101, Euless, TX 76040. Please call 817.571.1323 for more information.

How do I utilize the facility?
It's very simple, all you have to do is contact NFF to set up your first appointment, get a physician's release form and we will set you up with an exercise program to get you started.

  Who can use the facility?
Anyone with a neurological impairment such as Multiple Sclerosis, spinal cord injury, stroke, closed head injury, Guillan Barre, Muscular Dystrophy, Parkinson's, Lou Gehrig's, Cerebal Palsy and many others.

Who founded the Neuro Fitness Foundation?
The beginning concept and organization was derived from a wealth of knowledge that John Nichols (C5-6 Quadriplegic /1988) had experienced during the previous 10 years. Fortunately, an athletic background played a major role in understanding the importance of exercise and nutrition to live a "quality" of life.

The first obstacle encountered is the realization that insurance will only cover a very limited time of physical rehabilitation and then a person is left to fend for him or herself. Next, there are not any places that can accommodate people with special needs. Most importantly being that of "specialized" exercise equipment and accessories that are specifically designed for the physically challenged.

During the 10 years prior to the formation of NFF, John consistently studied and researched exercise equipment that could be used to benefit and maximize the potential of the physically challenged. It was through these experiences that the first ideas of NFF began to form.

While providing a facility where studies were being conducted by Tarleton State University, John was fortunate to meet the people who would eventually establish NFF.

After the study was concluded, a group of individuals (Kathi Davis/Multiple Sclerosis, Randy & Angie Triplett son Jason Scott/SCI-Quadriplegic, David & Jan Harrison son Sam Harrison/SCI-Paraplegic, Paul & Colleen Robertson/Multiple Sclerosis, Catherine Schack son Jeremy/Head Trauma, Willie Phea/Baylor PT Tech, Rebecca Woods/Friend and Jerry & Dorothy Nichols parents of John) came together with "specialized" exercise equipment, knowledge and ideas to officially establish a 501(c)(3) non-profit exercise facility in 1998 - the Neuro Fitness Foundation.

2009/2010 - New Facility? New Board of Directors?
  New Facility?
After multiple years of decreasing donations and rising expenses, the economic realities forced the organization to take a hard look at itself. And thanks to the energy of multiple persons, the organization made the positive steps to reopen at the current location. As with most things in life, we could not see the blessing and opportunity in front of us at the time that we contemplated a 6-month shutdown of the organization. Yet here we were just a few weeks later in a new facility - larger space, ground floor access, and ample parking! We are truly blessed and now able to better serve our members!

  New Board of Directors?
Organizations continually evolve like any other living organism. And after 11 years of being the driving force behind the NFF, it was simply time for a fresh set of faces with new ideas and a new energy. We cannot thank the volunteers, donors, former board members, the Nichols family, and John for driving the organization in making such a positive change in so many peoples lives!
The NFF is a non-profit 501(c)(3) public charity that provides many different types of specialized exercise equipment for strength and cardiovascular training, plus a Yoga class with a certified instructor.
